The Emscher-Park-Weg is a 129-kilometer hiking trail run by the Sauerland Mountain Association (SGV).

The hiking trail runs along the Emscher and through the heart of the Ruhr area .

The route leads from Kamen via Oberaden , Derne , Mengede , Castrop-Rauxel , the Gysenberg Revierpark , Herne , the Strünkede Castle , the ZOOM Gelsenkirchen , Essen-Karnap, Bottrop Stadtgarten, the Vonderort Revierpark , the Oberhausen Castle and Meiderich to Duisburg-Mitte , it ends at Duisburg Central Station .

The hiking trail falls into the category of the main hiking trails of the SGV and, like all other main hiking trails, has the white St. Andrew's cross X as a sign , extended by the letter E at intersections.
