Ehrsen-Breden is a district of the city of Bad Salzuflen in the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Lippe in Germany .

Ehrsen-Breden is located to the southeast, about three kilometers outside of Salzufler city center. The place borders in the north on the district Wüsten , in the southeast on the district Grastrup-Hölsen , in the south on Holzhausen and in the west on the districts Schötmar and Salzuflen.
Protected areas
In the northeast, south of Bergkirchen , the " Bachtal bei Grünau " nature reserve has been designated since 2002 .
history
Ehrsen was first mentioned in writing in 1158 as Ethessin . The first written mention of Breden as Brede is dated to 1436.
Population development
On January 1, 1969 Ehrsen-Breden became a district of the new town of Bad Salzuflen. There were 2498 inhabitants = 357 inhabitants per square kilometer (for comparison Bad Salzuflen total: 479 inhabitants / km²).
