The Eurobowl XXVI was the final of the 26th season of the European Football League . It was held on July 21, 2012 between the Raiffeisen Vikings Vienna and the Calanda Broncos in the Liechtenstein capital Vaduz . The Broncos secured the first Eurobowl title in their club's history with a 27:14 win.
The EFAF entrusted the Calanda Broncos with the organization of the final. They decided not to play the game in their home stadium, but in the nearby Rheinpark in Vaduz. Liechtenstein was the host nation for the first time after the Eurobowl had taken place in Austria for the eight years before.
In addition to ORF , which, as in previous years, broadcast the Eurobowl on its special-interest channel ORF SPORT + , the final was also broadcast on Eurosport 2 for the first time, making it accessible to a wider European audience.
