Eurobowl IV was the final of the fourth season of the European Football League . On July 28, 1990, the Legnano Frogs and the Manchester Spartans faced each other. The English Spartans won the fourth final by 34-22.

Course of the game

A player from Legnano made the first points of the game. The American quarterback Matthew Stevens took a long 28- yard - touchdown -Pass also to the US Scott White House . In the same quarter, both teams were able to achieve a touchdown by long passes, first the Frogs with a 35-yard pass and then the Spartans with a 47-yard pass from Hazen Choates to Leroy Innes . In the second quarter of the game, the Spartans were able to score another touchdown with a 6-yard run, which meant that the hosts entered the half-time break with an intermediate score of 14 to 14. The English dominated the second half, they were able to achieve three more touchdowns by the middle of the last quarter, but two extra point attempts went wrong. In the last quarter, the Italian team managed a meaningless touchdown with a two-point conversion . Thus, the final score of 34 to 22 for the Manchester Spartans was fixed.
