The Eurobowl XXXII was the final of the fifth season of the Big6 European Football League . It took place on June 9, 2018 in the PSD Bank Arena in Frankfurt am Main . As a result of the Big6 season 2018, it was held between the local Frankfurt Universe and the New York Lions from Braunschweig . The final of the 2017 season was repeated . The game ended with a 20:19 victory for the Lions, who won the Eurobowl for the fourth time in a row. It was the Lions' sixth title overall, making them the sole record champion.
Due to a thunderstorm interruption lasting more than an hour in the first quarter, the game only ended after midnight, a novelty. Also due to the long interruption in the weather, the playing times of the individual quarters were shortened. The first quarter, which was interrupted by the storm, was played in its full length of twelve minutes, the following three quarters were only played with ten minutes.
