The Eurobowl XXXI was the final of the fourth season of the Big6 European Football League . It took place on June 10, 2017 in Frankfurt am Main , in the Frankfurter Volksbank Stadium . As a result of the Big6 season 2017, it was played between the local Frankfurt Universe and the New York Lions from Braunschweig . This was the third time that the final was played between two German teams since the Big 6 was introduced.
From the start of the game, the New York Lions dominated the game and led by 48: 7 at halftime. Frankfurt Universe could not change anything about this gap until the end of the game. At the end of the day it was 55:14 for the Braunschweiger, who won the title for the third time in a row.
