Eurobowl IX was the final of the ninth season of the European Football League . On July 8, 1995, the Düsseldorf Panthers and the London Olympians faced each other. The Panthers were able to win the ninth final with 21 to 14 and were thus the first German team to win the cup.

Course of the game

A player from Düsseldorf made the first points of the game. The running back Francesco Mavaro ran a long 63- yard - touchdown . In the same quarter, the Olympians were also able to score a touchdown with a short run. The defensive dominated game remained pointless until the final quarter of the game, when Englishman Richard Dunkley made a 6-yard touchdown run. The Panthers then made two long pass touchdowns, one over 35 yards and one over 37 yards. The final score of 21 to 14 for the Düsseldorf Panthers was therefore determined.
