European Football League 1990

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In the 1990 season of the European Football League 13 clubs took part. The defending champion and host of the final round, the Legnano Frogs, were automatically qualified for the semi-finals again, as in the previous year. The 12 other clubs were divided into three groups. These groups played in three rounds, with the weakest teams always playing a winner according to a seeding list, who then met the next strongest opponent in order to play off the other semi-final participants.

In the Eurobowl IV , which was played at the Stadio Romeo Neri in Rimini , the Manchester Spartans dethroned the defending champions Legnano Frogs with a final score of 34 to 22.
