Austria took part inthe 2019 European Games in Minsk from June 21 to 30, 2019.

history

On May 20, 2019, 57 athletes, 22 women and 35 men, were nominated in twelve sports by the Austrian Olympic Committee (ÖOC). Fifteen of the participants had already taken part in the Olympic Games. The judoka Christopher Wagner, who was unable to participate due to injury, was originally planned. Judoka Katharina Tanzer received a quota place in the category up to 48 kg.

The 2015 medalists Bettina Plank (karate / silver), Bernadette Graf (judo / bronze), Olivia Hofmann (shooting / bronze) and the men's table tennis team ( Stefan Fegerl , Robert Gardos and Daniel Habesohn / bronze) took part again. The youngest active participant was the track bike specialist Valentin Götzinger (* 2000), the oldest participants were pistol shooter Thomas Havlicek and table tennis player Robert Gardos (both born in 1979).

The official outfit took place on June 6, 2019.

The judoka Bernadette Graf was chosen as the standard bearer for the opening ceremony .

No quota place was achieved for the 2020 Summer Olympics .
