The political Expositur Bad Aussee was until 31 December 2011, a Expositur the district Liezen in Styria .
history
Until the 15th century, the Salzkammergut including the Ausseerland was the direct property of the emperor (as Kammergut ). However, due to a dispute over salt mining, the Ausseerland was handed over to Styria.
In 1849 a district office for the judicial districts of Aussee , Irdning , Gröbming and Schladming was set up for the Liezen district administration in Irdning .
In 1872 the emperor complied with the wish of the population in the upper Ennstal for independence. The district authority Gröbming, which included the above-mentioned judicial districts, was founded. The Aussee branch was subordinate to the Gröbming district administration.
In 1938, due to a National Socialist order, the district authority based in Gröbming had to be closed and incorporated into the Liezen district. The Aussee branch, which coincided with the former court district of Aussee, was spun off as an autonomous district in the administrative unit of Upper Danube (Upper Austria).
In 1948 the Aussee district was reclassified to Styria and since then has been a branch in the Liezen district.
The former togetherness of the branches Bad Aussee and Gröbming is still reflected today, for example, in the shared school district of Gröbming, which also includes the Ausseerland , or with the joint medical officer.
resolution
In the course of a reform agenda presented by the Styrian state government in 2011, the Bad Aussee branch was dissolved and, from January 1, 2012, transformed into a branch of the BH Liezen. This led to numerous protests, including a Facebook group that was received in the media and tried to get the license plate abbreviation BA . These efforts ultimately failed due to legal requirements.
Communities
The political branch of Bad Aussee last comprised five municipalities , including a town and a market municipality. All of them were in the judicial district of Irdning in 2011 .
