Extraliga (Czech Republic, chess) 1992/93
The Extraliga 1992/93 was the first season of the Czech Extraliga in chess .
Participating teams
For the Extraliga had with Bohemians Prague , Slavia Hradec Králové , TJ Jiskra Stare Mesto , TŽ Trinec , ŠK Baník Karviná , Dopravní podniky Prague , Lokomotiva Olomouc and ŠK Vyšehrad the eight top-ranked Czech teams of the Czechoslovak team Championship 1991/92 qualified also were Lokomotiva Kolín rose as the winner of the 1st česká liga 1991/92 and Slavia Havířov as the winner of the 1st moravskoslezská liga 1991/92.

Events
The competitions were played on November 28 and 29, December 12 and 13, 1992, February 6 and 7, March 6 and 7, and April 3 and 4, 1993.
Season course
While the Bohemians Prague team , which had already won the last Czechoslovak team championship, was already established as champions before the last round, the decision in the relegation battle was made in the last round against TJ Jiskra Staré Město and TŽ Trinec .
