Extraliga (Czech Republic, chess) 2012/13

The Extraliga 2012/13 was the 21st season of the Czech Extraliga in chess .

Participating teams

For the Extraliga had with the first Novoborský ŠK , ŠK Rapid Pardubice , ŠK Labortech Ostrava , Výstaviště Lysá nad Labem , BSS Frydek-Mistek , A64 Valoz Grygov , TJ Slávie Turnov , TJ Tatran Litovel , ŠK Slavoj Ostrava-Poruba and TJ Bohemians Prague the teams in places 1 to 9 and 11 of the 2011/12 season qualified (the tenth place ŠK Zlín withdrew his team), also were the ŠK Mahrla Prague as the winner of the 1. liga západ 2011/12 and TJ TŽ Třinec as the winner of 1st league východ in 2011/12.

mode

The twelve teams played a simple round-robin tournament , first of all the team points (3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a defeat) decided the placements, then the board points (1 point for a win, 0.5 points for a draw, 0 points for a loss).

Game dates

The competitions took place on November 3rd and 4th, December 1st and 2nd 2012, February 16th and 17th, March 23rd and 24th and from April 26th to 28th 2013.

Season course

The defending champion 1. Novoborský ŠK was in a class of its own and was already the champion before the last round. TJ Bohemians Prag was already relegated before the last round, while the decision about the second relegated was only made in the last round against ŠK Mahrla Prague .
