Extraliga (Czech Republic, chess) 2003/04
The 2003/04 Extraliga was the twelfth season of the Czech Extraliga in chess .
Participating teams
For the Extraliga had with TJ TŽ Třinec , ŠK Hagemann Slezan Opava , ŠK Sokol Vyšehrad VISUS , ŠK Jäkl Karviná , ŠK Mahrla Prague , ŠK Trinom Zlín , SC A64 Lázně Slatinice , ŠK Sokol Plzeň I - INGEM , ŠK Infinity Pardubice and ŠK Polabí Sokol Kolín qualified the top ten winners of the 2002/03 season, TJ Slavia Hradec Králové was promoted as the winner of the 1st česká liga 2002/03 and IPM COLOR Ostrava as the winner of the 1st moravskoslezská liga 2002/03.

mode
The twelve teams played a simple round-robin tournament , first the team points (2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a defeat) decided on the placements, then the board points (1 point for a win, 0.5 points for a draw, 0 points for a loss).
Game dates
The competitions took place on November 8 and 9, December 6 and 7, 2003, January 10, February 7 and 8, March 20 and 21 and April 3 and 4, 2004.
Season course
The ŠK Hagemann Opava had, so that the title no longer came after seven rounds already four points clear despite three penalty points in the closing laps at risk. TJ Slavia Hradec Králové was determined prematurely as relegated, while the decision about the second relegated only came in the last round against TJ Jäkl Karviná .
