Extraliga (Czech Republic, chess) 1993/94
The 1993/94 Extraliga was the second season of the Czech Extraliga in chess .
Participating teams
Bohemians Prague , Dopravní podniky Prague , Lokomotiva Olomouc , Slavia Hradec Králové , TJ Jiskra Staré Město , TŽ Trinec , ŠK Baník Karviná , ŠK Vyšehrad , Slavia Havířov and Lokomotiva Kolín qualified for the Extraliga, the first eight of the 1992/93 season. In addition, the ŠK Dům armády Prague rose as the winner of the 1st česká liga 1992/93 and ŠO TJ VOKD Ostrava-Poruba as the winner of the 1st moravskoslezská liga 1992/93.

Events
The competitions were played on November 27 and 28, December 11 and 12, 1993, January 22 and 23, February 12 and 13, and March 12 and 13, 1994.
Season course
While the team from Slavia Hradec Králové lost the first eight competitions and was thus prematurely relegated, the other decisions were only made in the last round. The defending champion Bohemians Prague retained the championship lead, while ŠO TJ VOKD Ostrava-Poruba just missed out on relegation.
