Extraliga (Czech Republic, chess) 2015/16

The Extraliga 2015/16 was the 24th season of the Czech Extraliga in chess .

Participating teams

For the Extraliga had with the first Novoborský ŠK , ŠK Rapid Pardubice , ŠK JOLY Lysa nad Labem , ŠK Labortech Ostrava , BSS Frydek-Mistek , AD Mahrla Prague , Zikuda Turnov , ŠK Slavoj Ostrava-Poruba , TJ Ancora Tatran Litovel and TJ TŽ Třinec qualified the top ten of the 2014/15 season, and the second team of ŠK JOLY Lysá nad Labem won the 1st league západ 2014/15 and ŠK Duras BVK won the 1st liga východ 2014/15.

mode

The twelve teams played a simple round-robin tournament , first of all the team points (3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a defeat) decided the placements, then the board points (1 point for a win, 0.5 points for a draw, 0 points for a loss).

Game dates

The competitions took place on November 7th and 8th, December 5th and 6th 2015, January 9th and 10th, February 6th and 7th, and from April 15th to 17th, 2016. Round was played.

Season course

While the defending champion 1. Novoborský ŠK was in a class of their own and could not be driven from the top two laps before the end, the decision about relegation was only made in the last round against TJ TŽ Třinec and TJ Zikuda Turnov.
