Extraliga (Czech Republic, chess) 2006/07
The 2006/07 Extraliga was the 15th season of the Czech Extraliga in chess .
Participating teams
For the Extraliga, ŠK Bauset Pardubice , ŠK Lokomotiva Brno , ŠK Zlín , ŠK Mahrla Prague , ŠK Labortech Ostrava , A64 Hagemann Opava , ŠK Sokol Plzeň I - INGEM , ŠK Sokol Vyšehrad , TJ Slávie Turnov and TJ TŽ Třinec won the top ten of the 2005/06 season, the 1st Novoborský ŠK was also the winner of the 1st league západ (formerly 1st česká liga) in 2005/06 and BŠS Frýdek-Místek was the winner of the 1st league východ (formerly 1st moravskoslezská league) Ascended in 2005/06.

mode
The twelve teams played a simple round-robin tournament , first of all the team points decided on the placements (3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a defeat), then the number of winning games.
Game dates
The competitions took place on November 4th and 5th, December 2nd, 3rd, 16th and 17th, 2006, January 13th, and March 10th, 11th, 24th and 25th 2007.
Season course
All decisions were made ahead of time. With two laps to go, ŠK Sokol Vyšehrad , who lost all competitions, had been relegated. Before the last lap, the successful title defense of RC Sport Pardubice and the relegation of ŠK Lokomotiva Brno were sealed.
