Extraliga (Czech Republic, chess) 2017/18
The Extraliga 2017/18 was the 26th season of the Czech Extraliga in chess .
Participating teams
For the Extraliga had with the first Novoborský ŠK , Výstaviště Lysá nad Labem , GASCO Pardubice , ŠK Slavoj Ostrava-Poruba , BSS Frydek-Mistek , ŠK Labortech Ostrava , ŠK města Lysa nad Labem , ŠK DURAS BVK Královo Pole , Unichess and Tatran Litovel The eleven first-placed winners of the 2016/17 season (with the exception of ŠK AD Jičín , who withdrew his team) qualified, and ŠK ZIKUDA Turnov from the 1st league západ 2016/17 and Moravská Slavia from the 1st liga východ 2016/17 Brno ascended.

The twelve teams played a simple round-robin tournament , first of all the team points (3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a defeat) decided the placements, then the board points (1 point for a win, 0.5 points for a draw, 0 points for a loss).
Game dates
The competitions took place on November 18 and 19, December 2 and 3, 2017, January 13 and 14, February 10 and 11, and April 6 to 8, 2018.
Season course
The defending champion 1. Novoborský ŠK prevailed superiorly. Tatran Litovel was determined early as relegated, the decision on the second relegated was made in the last round against ŠK města Lysá nad Labem .
