Extraliga (Czech Republic, chess) 2005/06
The Extraliga 2005/06 was the 14th season of the Czech Extraliga in chess .
Participating teams
For the Extraliga had with ŠK Bauset Pardubice , ŠK Mahrla Prague , ŠK Lokomotiva Brno , INGEM - ŠK Sokol Plzeň I , ŠK Sokol Vyšehrad , ŠK Trinom Zlín , SC A64 Grygov , TJ TŽ Třinec , TJ Slávie Turnov and IPM COLOR Ostrava ten Qualified first place in the 2004/05 season, TJ Pankrác was promoted as the winner of the 1st česká liga 2004/05 and the second team of the ŠK Lokomotiva Brno as the winner of the 1st moravskoslezská liga 2004/05.

mode
The twelve teams played a simple round-robin tournament , first of all the team points (3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a defeat) decided the placements, then the board points (1 point for a win, 0.5 points for a draw, 0 points for a loss).
Game dates
The competitions took place on October 15 and 16, November 5 and 6, December 3 and 4, 2005, January 14, February 25 and 26, and March 25 and 26, 2006.
Season course
The ŠK Bauset Pardubice and the ŠK Lokomotiva Brno fought a duel for the title, which saw Pardubice just ahead. The two newcomers had no chance and were already relegated two laps before the end.
