The FIA European Truck Racing Championship 2010 (also: FIA European Truck Racing Championship 2010 or FIA ETRC 2010 ) was a Europe of the FIA discharged motorsport racing championship in the group F ( racing trucks ). The nine (9) runs comprehensive, each with four (4) races Truck Racing Championship was the 26th ever and the fifth (5th) the predicate Championship (since they 2006 by the FIA "Championship" was awarded). Before that it only had the status of a "Cup" .
The Spanish racing driver Antonio Albacete won the championship on his CeEPSA - MAN racing truck ahead of Markus Bösiger ( Switzerland ) on Renault and Jochen Hahn from Germany with his black MAN racing truck.
Makus Bösiger and Markus Oestreich won the team classification as Team MKR Technology in Renault Trucks (712 points) ahead of Antonio Albacete and Christopher Levett as Team Truck Sport Bernau in a MAN (685 points) and the third-placed Hahn Oxxo Racing team consisting of Jochen Hahn and Balázs Szobi , also MAN with 541 points.
Racing calendar
Rating
Four races were held on each race weekend, two on Saturday and two on Sunday.
In the 2nd day of the race (i.e. races 2 and 4 per race weekend), the reversal rule partially reversed the starting grid for the previous race; this concerns the top 8 at the finish line.
- The winner of races 1 and 3 of a weekend (first race of the day) started the next race (2 and 4) from position 8.
- The eighth place (8th) in races 1 and 3 of a weekend (second race of the day) started the following race (2 and 4) from pole position .
- The places in between have been reversed accordingly.
In the evaluation, a distinction was made between the races with and without reversal rule (places 1 - 10):
- Races 1 and 3 (without reversal rule): 20, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1 point (s)
- Races 2 and 4 (with reversal rule): 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 point (s)
