Fabian Sebastian Karl von Lukowitz (also: Lukowicz , born January 15, 1780 in Kossabude , Konitz district , † September 28, 1846 in Stettin ) was a Prussian lieutenant general .

Life

Lukowitz was a pupil in Konitz in 1793/94 and then attended the cadet house in Kulm . As Portepeefähnrich he joined on March 4, 1796 in the Infantry Regiment "from Kunheim" the Prussian army one. During the Wars of Liberation Lukowitz fought in the battles near Großgörschen , Bautzen , Dennewitz , Leipzig , Laon , Ligny , Belle Alliance as well as in the battles near Colditz, Compiegne, Namur and the sieges of Wittenberg, Hertogenbusch, Antwerp, Soissons , Landrecies, Philippeville and Givet . Lukowitz was wounded near Bautzen and awarded the Iron Cross, 2nd class. Lukowitz received the first class cross for Ligny. He was also promoted to major on March 16, 1814 .

After the war Lukowitz was on March 30, 1821 Lieutenant Colonel and on March 30, 1827 , Colonel . On March 30, 1828 he was commissioned to lead the 2nd Infantry Regiment "Crown Prince" and one year later he was appointed regimental commander. This was followed by his promotion to major general on March 30, 1835, and he was appointed commander of the 2nd Infantry Brigade . In this position he was awarded the Russian Order of St. Stanislaus 1st Class on September 30, 1835 . Under awarded the character of lieutenant-general and the star of Red Eagle II.
