Ferrán Torres García (born February 29, 2000 in Foios ) is a Spanish football player . The winger is under contract with Manchester City in the Premier League and is a U21 international .

Career

Torres started playing football in the youth department of Valencia CF and moved up to the club's second team in 2016. He made his debut in the Segunda División B , the third highest division in Spanish football, on October 15, 2016 (9th matchday) in the 2-0 defeat at home against the second team of RCD Mallorca . At the end of the 2016/17 season he could look back on 12 point games in which he scored 2 goals. The Spaniard made his debut for the professional team on November 30, 2017 in the 4th round of the competition for the King's Cup in the 4-1 second leg win of Valencia CF over Real Zaragoza . He made his debut in the Primera División on December 16, 2017 (16th matchday) in the 1: 2 defeat in the away game against SD Eibar with a substitution for Andreas Pereira in the 81st minute. By the end of the season, 12 more appearances in Spain's top division followed, the majority of them after substitution. In the 2018/19 season , Torres mostly came into the game as a substitute. With Valencia he first played in the Champions League and was there three times. National team

Torres has been playing for Spanish junior national teams since the U17 . With the selection he won the U17 European Championship 2017 in Croatia in May 2017 . He played a total of 24 games for the U17s and scored 2 goals. For the U19 he played 17 games with 9 goals and won the U19 European Championship in Armenia in 2019 . Torres has been part of the U21 national team since September 2019 .
