Oleksandr Volodymyrowytsch Sintschenko ( Ukrainian Олександр Володимирович Зінченко ; English transcription Oleksandr Zinchenko ; born December 15, 1996 in Radomyshl ) is a Ukrainian football player . He is under contract with the English club Manchester City in the Premier League , the highest English division. His main position is the offensive midfield , and he is also used as a winger or full-back.
Career
Zinchenko was born in Radomyshl, 105 km west of Kiev in the Ukrainian Oblast of Zhytomyr . Since his father Volodymyr Zinchenko was also a soccer player, he began to practice this sport at an early age and trained in a local club.

His career began in the 2008/09 season with the youth of the club FC Monolit Illichivsk in the southern Ukrainian city of Chornomorsk . In 2009 Zinchenko moved to Donetsk in eastern Ukraine to the youth of Shakhtar Donetsk , where he became team captain and remained in the youth team until 2013. In the 2013/14 season he came to the first team of the club playing in the Ukrainian Premjer-Liha , but was not used and then moved to the Russian city of Ufa to the local first division club FK Ufa . After the end of the season he was voted the best player of the season by the fans of FK Ufa.
He moved to Manchester City for the 2016/17 season .
In August 2016 it was awarded to the Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven . He was used 29 times for PSV and their second team.
For the season 2017/18 returned Zinchenko back to Manchester.
National team
Zhenchenko played six games for the Ukrainian U-19 national team and three games for the Ukrainian U-21 national team .
He made his debut for the Ukrainian national soccer team on October 12, 2015 in the Euro 2016 qualifier against Spain . On May 29, 2016, three minutes after coming into play, he scored his first goal for the national team in a friendly against Romania . At the age of 19 years and 165 days, he became the team's youngest goalscorer to date and replaced Andrij Shevchenko as the record holder. His third and last international match before the start of the Euro 2016 was on June 3, 2016 against the national team of Albania .
For the European Football Championship in 2016 , Zhenchenko was accepted as a midfielder in Ukraine 's EM squad , where he came into play in the 66th minute of the opening game against Germany . In the second game of the competition against the Northern Irish national team he came in the 83rd minute for Viktor Kovalenko , in the third and final game of Ukraine at the European Championship he was on the starting line-up and up to the 73rd minute in the game.
