Frauenberger and Duschlberger forest
The Frauenberger and Duschlberger Forest is a 21.05 km² community-free area in the Freyung-Grafenau district in Bavaria . The namesake places are Frauenberg (municipality Haidmühle ) and Duschlberg (municipality Neureichenau ).
geography
The forest area in the east of the Freyung-Grafenau district is largely uninhabited and borders the Czech Republic . It consists of two closely adjacent but not contiguous parts of the area that are separated by a path, namely the Duschlberg forest in the west and the Frauenberg forest in the east. The Duschlberger Forest surrounds two exclaves of the municipality of Grainet (Hachlwies and Graberwies) and four exclaves of the municipality of Haidmühle , Frauenberg district (Ohmüllerraumreut, Schneiderwiesen, Glashüttenraumreut, Boldlraumreut). The Frauenberger Forest surrounds two exclaves of the Haidmühle community, Frauenberg district (near Sägmühle am Kreuzbach and Kreuzbachklause a good kilometer above it on the same body of water).

In the Schönbrunn Forest there are some geotopes designated by the Bavarian State Office for the Environment (LfU) .
