Sankt Oswald (municipality-free area)

Location of the community-free area of ​​Sankt Oswald in the Freyung-Grafenau district

Sankt Oswald is a municipality-free area in the Lower Bavarian district of Freyung-Grafenau in Bavaria .

The 12.15 km² state forest lies on the border with the Czech Republic . On the Bavarian side, it borders on the Waldhäuserwald and Sankt Oswald-Riedlhütte .

The area is part of the Bavarian Forest National Park , the LSG Bayerischer Wald landscape protection area , the fauna-flora-habitat area Bavarian Forest National Park and the EU bird protection area Bavarian Forest National Park .
