Location of the community-free area of ​​Graineter Wald in the Freyung-Grafenau district

The Graineter Forest is a community-free area in the Lower Bavarian district of Freyung-Grafenau in Bavaria .

The 6.59 km² state forest lies between the Leopoldsreuter Forest , Frauenberger and Duschlberger Forest and Grainet .

He is part of the Bavarian Forest Nature Park and the conservation area, LSG Bavarian Forest . There are two enclaves in the area that belong to the eponymous Grainet area.
