Fred Tackett
Fred Tackett (* 30th August 1945 in Little Rock , Arkansas ) is an American rock - guitarist , who was best known for his work as a studio musician for various artists since the 1960s. In 1988 he joined the rock band Little Feat and in 2001 he recorded the purely acoustic concert album Live from North Cafe with Paul Barrère . In addition to the guitar, Tackett also plays the mandolin , trumpet , cello and keyboard .
