Jon Gary Grubbs (born November 14, 1949 in Amory , Mississippi ) is an American actor .

Life

From 1968 to 1972 Jon Gary Grubbs studied economics at the University of Southern Mississippi and graduated with a bachelor's degree . In 1977 Jon Gary Grubbs moved from Mississippi to Los Angeles with his then-wife Glenda Meadows to advance his acting career. That same year he received a small role in the family comedy Benji in danger before in films such as Honkytonk Man and Silkwood alongside Clint Eastwood and Meryl Streep occurred.

After graduating from college, Grubbs met and married a teacher, Glenda Meadows, a former beauty queen and Miss Mississippi . He lives with her and their two children in both Hattiesburg and Los Angeles.
