religion
Pfronstetten and its current districts remained Catholic after the Reformation. Since the 19th century and increasingly after the Second World War, Protestant residents have also moved in, so that a separate Protestant parish was formed in Pfronstetten . It was initially looked after by the pastor from Zwiefalten, then from Bernloch. In 1925, the then branch parish of Pfronstetten, together with the districts of Aichelau and Aichstetten, was assigned to the municipality of Pfronstetten and the district of Wilsingen in the city of Trochtelfingen from the Bernloch parish to the Ödenwaldstetten parish. From 1972 to approx. 2018 the parish of Pfronstetten and the parish of Ödenwaldstetten formed the overall parish of Ödenwaldstetten, but now they are united in the evangelical parish of Ödenwaldstetten-Pfronstetten .
