Genki Ōmae ( Japanese 大 前 元 紀 , Ōmae Genki ; born December 10, 1989 in Yokohama ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

The winger for the right offensive side scored 13 goals in 34 games for his club Shimizu S-Pulse in the 2012 J-League season . With the club he also reached the final of the League Cup in 2012 after Ōmae managed a hat trick in the semifinals in a 3-0 win against FC Tokyo . The final was lost 1: 2 against the Kashima Antlers , Ōmae achieved the interim equalization to 1: 1.

On December 6, 2012, Bundesliga club Fortuna Düsseldorf signed Ōmae. He signed a contract dated June 30, 2015. On January 20, 2013, he made his Bundesliga debut when he came on for Andreas Lambertz in the 3-2 defeat against FC Augsburg . In August 2013 he was loaned to his former club Shimizu S-Pulse; the loan contract is dated May 31, 2014. In May 2014, Ōmae was firmly committed.
