Leonardo Nascimento Lopes de Souza , or simply Leonardo (born May 28, 1997 ) is a Brazilian soccer player .
Career
Leonardo learned to play football in the youth teams of Red Bull Brasil , Corinthians São Paulo and Ituano FC . In 2017 he signed his first contract with Santos FC in Santos . After a year he moved to Asia . Here he signed a contract with Gainare Tottori in Japan . The club from Tottori Prefecture played in the third division, the J3 League . He scored 24 goals in 31 Third League games. After a year he moved to the second division club Albirex Niigata in 2019 . For the club from Niigata , he completed 38 games in the J2 League and scored 28 goals. The first division club Urawa Red Diamonds from Saitama signed him from the 2020 season.
