Giro del Belvedere
The Giro del Belvedere is an Italian one-day race in road cycling .
The race is held annually in the province of Treviso ( region Veneto discharged). The starting and finishing point is Villa di Villa (Cordignano) .
The competition was first held in 1932. It lasted until 1952 until another event took place. The race has been held annually since 1959. Since 2005 it is part of the UCI Europe Tour in the UCI category 1.2.
In 2020 the race was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic . First, a circuit should be driven 14 times, which includes the hill Conche (1 km with 5% average gradient, maximum gradient of 9%). In the last part of the race, the drivers would have had to tackle a circuit of 17.3 km each time, including the climb to the Montaner (length 1.7 km with an average gradient of 12%, maximum 20%) and another shorter and more difficult climb in the direction Borgo Val (length 0.5 km with an average gradient of 12%, maximum 17%).
