Giuseppe Moioli

Giuseppe Moioli (born August 8, 1927 in Mandello del Lario ) is a former Italian rower .

At the first European rowing championships after the Second World War, which were held in Lucerne in 1947 , Giuseppe Moioli, Elio Morille , Giovanni Invernizzi and Franco Faggi won in front of the boats from Czechoslovakia and Switzerland. The following year, the four Italians won the gold medal at the 1948 Olympic Games in London, ahead of the Danes and the US boat. The four rowers from Moto Guzzi Mandello also won the European Championships in Amsterdam in 1949 and in Milan in 1950 . In this line-up, the Italian foursome finished fourth at the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne .
