Carolin Niemczyk (born July 24, 1990 in Singen ) andDaniel Grunenberg (born November 8, 1988 in Stockach) were both members of the Stockach church pop band Crazy Flowers, whose repertoire ranged from contemporary cover songs to pop music with Christian content. Then came the seven-member Stockach band project “No Time”, which had both Christian and secular themes in its repertoire and also presented their own compositions by Niemczyk and Grunenberg based on German texts. On January 18, 2010, they won the Radio ENERGY Newcomer Contest 2009/2010 with their song Versinke and thus got their first record deal.

In the Austrian charts, the song reached the top 50 and at the same time the duo was also able to place in the Swiss charts for the first time. On April 26, 2013 Glasperlenspiel released their fourth single Never Forget and occupied ninth place in the German charts and 43rd place in Austria.
