(2013)

Move it to me this is debut album of the German electro - duo Glass Bead Game .

Creation and artwork

The songs were written by the two Glasperlenspiel members Daniel Grunenberg and Carolin Niemczyk , in cooperation with changing external composers. Only the title Herzschlag was written by the two of them alone. David Jürgens was the most frequent author. All tracks were produced by the music producers Ingo Politz , Mic Schröder, Bernd Wendlandt and Mikko Tamminen, and Daniel Grunenberg also frequently works as a co-producer. The album was mastered at TrueBusyness Mastering in Berlin under the direction of Sascha Bühren. All songs were mixed by Arttu Peljo, Ingo Politz, Mic Schröder and Bernd Wendlandt. The album was released under the Polydor music label and distributed through Universal Music Publishing . On the cover of the album - next to the inscription of the artist and the song title - you can see Glasperlenspiel. The cover picture was shot by German photographer Anita Bresser and designed by Kropac Media.

Publication and promotion

The album was first released on September 30, 2011 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland . The album consists of 13 new studio recordings. In addition to the regular album release, there is also a special edition that is only available for download from iTunes . This special version also contains the song Tears , which to this day cannot be found on any other Glasperlenspiel sound carrier.

In order to promote the album, an appearance on TV total followed . Niemczyk gave Stefan Raab a sack of marbles , which is an allusion to the current single Echt , whereby the marbles play an important role in the music video.

Track list

The lyrics are all written in German. Musically, the songs move in the realm of electropop .
