Reviews
The online magazine laut.de awarded 2/5 stars. Martin Tenschert from the laut.de editorial team justified this with the following words: “The thirteen German-language titles sound a bit funky and intentional, as if one were to have a mixed beer drink or to drive around with the kickboard . [...] Glasperlenspiel undoubtedly master their craft and meet the expectations placed on them. However, one looks in vain for further artistic development or even musical ventures on Day X. "
Charts and chart placements
Day X reached position 14 in the album charts in Germany and stayed in the charts for a total of 37 weeks. In Austria the album reached position 54 in five chart weeks and in Switzerland position 49 in 13 chart weeks. For Glasperlenspiel this is the third chart success in the German album charts, as well as the first in Austria and the second in Switzerland. In all three countries, no album by the duo has been in the charts for longer, in Germany the album moved you with me (26 chart weeks).
