history
"Haleczow" originally belonged to the Bohemian rule Nachod and was first mentioned in 1477. At that time, Duke Heinrich d. Ä. , to which the reigns Nachod and Hummel as well as the county Glatz belonged since 1472 , the entire parish Lewin, to which Hallatsch belonged, into the dominion Hummel and this in the same year into his county Glatz. Together with the rule Hummel, Hallatsch came to the Bohemian sovereign in 1561. Even after the reign of Hummel was dissolved around 1595, the associated localities initially remained in the possession of the royal chamber . Hallatsch sold this to Johann Isaias von Hartig, the owner of the Rücker estate , in 1684 .
After the First Silesian War in 1742 and finally after the Peace of Hubertusburg in 1763, Hallatsch came to Prussia together with the County of Glatz . For 1793 there are 35 houses in which 188 inhabitants lived. After the reorganization of Prussia, it belonged to the province of Silesia since 1815 and was incorporated into the district of Glatz from 1816–1945 . It formed its own rural community and was the capital of the Hallatsch district . In 1937 it was renamed Hallgrund . In 1939 there were 227 inhabitants.
As a result of the Second World War , Hallatsch fell to Poland in 1945, like almost all of Silesia , and was initially renamed Hałacz and later Gołaczów . The German population was expelled . Some of the new residents were displaced from eastern Poland . The number of residents decreased significantly and in the 1990s was less than 30% of the population of 1939. As a result, numerous houses were left to decay. 1975-1998 Gołaczów belonged to the Wałbrzych Voivodeship ( Waldenburg ).
