Gudrun Zollner
Gudrun Anna Therese Zollner (born July 21, 1960 in Straubing ) is a German politician ( CSU ) and was a member of the German Bundestag .
Life
After graduating from secondary school, Zollner completed training as an industrial clerk in a company in Landau an der Isar between 1976 and 1979 . This was followed by a two-year apprenticeship as a forwarding agent in Passau. From 1981 to 2002 she worked in the family's own forwarding agency, from 1982 to 1995 she was an independent transport company. In 2003 she switched to the vocational training centers of the Bavarian economy as a commercial employee . From 1986 to 2012 she was co-owner of the Zollner GdbR Reiterhof in Wallersdorf. For her commitment as long-term founding chairwoman of the Reiterhof Wallersdorf e. V. she was awarded the golden honorary plaque by the market town of Wallersdorf.
From 1995 to 2005 Zollner was a member of the Versatility Advisory Board of the Equestrian Association of Lower Bavaria / Upper Palatinate. She was awarded the Silver Medal of Honor for this commitment. As a judge of the performance commission for horse performance tests in Bavaria, she has been volunteering since 1993.
In autumn 2014 Zollner was appointed deputy state chairwoman of Donum Vitae in Bayern e. V. elected.
She is divorced and has two children.
MPs
Zollner entered the German Bundestag on September 22, 2013 in the 2013 federal election, topping 40th place on the CSU state list. In the 18th electoral term, Zollner was a full member of the Committee for Family, Seniors, Women and Youth, the Sports Committee and the Civic Commitment subcommittee. She was also appointed as a deputy member of the Petitions Committee. The political focus of her work lies in the areas of equality between women and men in professional management positions, the social and legal recognition of homosexuals, and the promotion of voluntary work, especially in sport. Since January 2016 she has been secretary of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group in the German Bundestag.
Political party
Zollner joined the CSU in 1999. In 2011 she became the local chairman of the CSU in Wallersdorf. Since 2001 she has been part of the board of the CSU district association Dingolfing-Landau and was elected deputy district chairman 10 years later. She has been a member of the Lower Bavarian CSU district executive since 2011 and was elected as an assessor to the CSU party executive in November 2015.
Zollner has been involved in the women's union since 2007: she is the founding chairwoman of the Wallersdorf local association and deputy district chairwoman in Dingolfing-Landau. From 2009 to 2015 she held the deputy district chairman - in 2015 the delegates appointed her as the Lower Bavarian district chairman. Gudrun Zollner was elected state secretary in 2009 and has been confirmed in her office ever since.
In the Mittelstandsunion Niederbayern she has been a member of the district board since 2010 and is involved as a federal and state delegate.
Mandates
Zollner has been a member of the municipal council in her home town of Wallersdorf in Lower Bavaria since 2008. In 2014 she also became a district councilor for the district of Dingolfing-Landau.
