Sylvia Stierstorfer

Sylvia Stierstorfer (born February 22, 1963 in Regensburg ) is a Bavarian politician ( CSU ), member of the Bavarian state parliament and representative of the Bavarian state government for emigrants and displaced persons .

education and profession

Sylvia Stierstorfer attended the convent school of the poor school sisters in Niedermünster Regensburg from 1975 to 1979 and trained as a banker from 1979 to 1982 . She then worked as a customer advisor at Sparkasse Neutraubling.

Sylvia Stierstorfer is a Roman Catholic , married and has one child.

politics

Sylvia Stierstorfer had been a member of the Junge Union since 1978 and was deputy district chairwoman of the JU Regensburg Land in 1983. In 1986 she also joined the CSU and has been deputy CSU district chairwoman in the Regensburg district since 1994 and a member of the board of the CSU district association of Upper Palatinate since 1997. In the Women's Union she has been district chairman since 1995, since 1995 deputy district chairwoman Upper Palatinate and since 1998 a member of the state board.

In 1990 she was elected as a councilor in the Pfatter community and from 1996 was the third mayor of the Pfatter community. She has been a district councilor in the Regensburg district since 1990 and was deputy district administrator in the Regensburg district from 2002 to June 2004.

Sylvia Stierstorfer has been a member of the Bavarian State Parliament since October 6, 2003. In the 2013–2018 legislative period, she was chairman of the committee for petitions and complaints and secretary in the state parliament presidium. In the newly elected state parliament after the state elections in 2018, she is a member of the Committee for Labor, Social Affairs, Youth and Family. In addition, she is the chair of the Prison Advisory Board for Forensic Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the Parsberg District Hospital.

Within the CSU parliamentary group, Stierstorfer was chairman of the submissions and complaints working group from 2013 to 2018, as well as a member of the two working groups on women and tourism. In addition, she was also a member of the CSU parliamentary group during this time. Since 2007 she has been a member of the party executive committee of the CSU and the state sports advisory board [outdated] .

Stierstorfer represents the voting district Regensburg country in Parliament.

On March 21, 2018, she was appointed representative of the Bavarian State Government for emigrants and displaced persons.

Sylvia Stierstorfer was re-elected to the Bavarian State Parliament on October 14, 2018.
