Hansel and Gretel got lost in the forest (later renamed Let us crunch, Mäuschen ) is a German erotic film game from 1970 by the Austrian director Franz Josef Gottlieb , who also wrote the screenplay. The original title is identical to the first line of the children's song of the same name . The leading roles are cast with Dagobert Walter , Francy Fair , Barbara Scott , Rainer Basedow and Karl Dall . The film was first shown in German cinemas on February 20, 1970.

At the beginning of the film, a voice from the off explains that the fairy tale of Hansel and Gretel had previously been mistakenly intended for children, but has now finally been prepared as a moral epistle for adolescents.
Hansel and Gretel have known each other for nine weeks now. Now they go on vacation together, but keep arguing because he wants to, but she doesn't. They are surprised in the forest by an attractive, red-haired castle owner who invites them to join her. Because she always walks around with an open blouse, the sex witch quickly succeeds in luring the naive and vain boy into her bed. After Gretel had meanwhile been raped by a disgusting lock servant, she puts an end to the hustle and bustle by throwing herself naked on the neck of her Hansel. But the disempowered witch, furious, gives herself to her circus menagerie of lions, tigers and polar bears to eat.
