The Korn / Mayer property is a former official residence of the Nordfeld mine . From there the building was moved to its current location on Saarpfalz-Straße.

A gatehouse for the Duke of Zweibrücken's hunting grounds and a forester's house from 1909 indicate that the rural surroundings were used.
