Hünzingen is a district of Walsrode in the Heidekreis district , Lower Saxony .
geography
The village is located north of the main town of Walsrode in the Lüneburg Heath . It consists of three parts of the settlement, namely Hünzingen-Dorf, Hünzingen-Kolonie and Dreikronen. The L 161 runs through the village .
The Rieselbach flows through Hünzingen, which also flows through the Walsrode bird park and flows into the Böhme .
In Hünzingen there are no street names, only house numbers that residents, postmen, suppliers and visitors have to use for orientation.
history
On September 17, 1843, the responsible forester and Gogrefe August Ruschenbusch (1783–1874) from Fulde (Walsrode) headed the hunt for the last big wolf at Dreikronen and received a bonus of 50 thalers .
On March 1, 1974, Hünzingen was incorporated into the city of Walsrode as part of the regional reform in Lower Saxony .
