Krelingen is a district of the town of Walsrode in the Lower Saxony district of Heidekreis . About 800 inhabitants live in the heath village on an area of 22.5 km².

Krelingen is located in the southern area of the city of Walsrode, 9 km southeast of the core town of Walsrode. The Krelinger Bach flows through Krelingen, a little south of the village is the Krelinger See. Neighboring villages - clockwise from the north - are Bockhorn , Fahrenholz , Westenholz , Beetenbrück and Düshorn .

Krelingen is also located directly at the Walsrode motorway triangle - 1 km away from driveway no. 29 “Walsrode triangle”.
