Hagenbuch is a municipality in the Winterthur district of the canton of Zurich in Switzerland .
The community also includes the Aussenwachten Kappel, Egghof, Oberschneit, Hagenstal, Mittel- and Unterschneit and Schneitberg.

Of the municipal area, 61.7% is agricultural land, 28.3% is forest, 5.8% is settlement area and 3.9% is used for traffic, 0.4% is water.
The municipality of Hagenbuch borders Frauenfeld ( TG ) in the north, Aadorf ( TG ) in the east, Elgg in the south and Wiesendangen in the west .

In the 2019 National Council elections, the share of the vote in Seuzach was: SVP 64.51%, SP 11.66%, Greens 6.94%, glp 5.18%, FDP 3.25%, EPP 2.67%, CVP 2.42 %, EDU 1.14%, and BDP 1.00%.
The mayor is Therese Schläpfer (as of May 2020).

Public transport
The community has three bus stops and is connected on the one hand via the bus line 834 from Frauenfeld, train station to Ettenhausen TG, post of the tariff association Ostwind and, since December 2018, via the post bus line 681 from Hagenbuch ZH, village to Elgg , train station. Thus, until December 2018, Hagenbuch was the only municipality in the canton of Zurich that did not belong to the Zürcher Verkehrsverbund , as the only public transport line from Hagenbuch ran outside the ZVV.
