Haley Ramm (born March 26, 1992 in Collin County , Texas as Haley Michelle Ramm ) is an American actress .

life and career

Haley Ramm was in March 1992 in Collin County in the US state of Texas born to Barbara Wilson and Brian Ramm. At the age of seven she attended acting classes at her school, whereupon the teacher recommended her parents to look for an agent . She then auditioned for commercials and independent films across Texas, and later appeared in national commercials for Hasbro and for Dell computers. At the age of nine she was featured on the cover of the May and June issues of the youth magazine American Girl . She got her first role at the age of ten in the movie Naughty Beasts! . With a small commercial and film industry in Texas , she moved to Los Angeles with her parents and older brother when she was eleven . There she found a manager after a short time and after only six weeks got guest appearances in the popular crime series CSI - On the trail of the perpetrators and in Yes, Dear . Also in 2004, she appeared as April Rowlands in Seventy-8 . In 2005 she was slated for the role of the young Sara Huttinger in the film Where Love Falls ... , but her scenes were later cut out. The following month she got the role of Brittany Loud in Robert Schwentke's thriller Flightplan . After the filming of Flightplan was completed, she got the role of Kelly Beardsley in the comedy Your, Mine & Ours .

2006 was followed by an appearance as a young Jean Gray in the last part , the X-Men - Trilogy . In 2007 she appeared as Samantha Jensen in the two direct-to-DVD sequels, Walking Tall: The Payback and Walking Tall: Lone Justice , of the 2004 action film Walking Tall . In 2007 she also took on the role of Gwen Tennyson in the live action adaptation of the anime series Ben 10 , Ben 10 - Race against Time , for which she was nominated in 2008 for the Young Artist Award in the category Best Supporting Actress in a TV film, a miniseries or a special . Also in 2011, she starred in Action - Horror - Thriller Red State alongside Michael Parks , John Goodman and Melissa Leo the role of Maggie . In addition to other guest appearances in The Mentalist and Nikita , she played a supporting role in the 2012 thriller Disconnect .
