Hello Miss! is a musical comedy from the occupation in post-war Germany .

In southern Germany a few months after the war, is trying to promote the commander of the American occupation forces friendship with the local people by a music student from the troop entertainment , organized returned to the Eastern Front, a music show. By inviting an international orchestra, they achieve international understanding, even if the student ultimately decides to marry a local engineer rather than an American soldier.

Production notes

The film was shot in the Bavaria Film studio in Geiselgasteig . The outdoor photos were taken in Oberammergau , Garmisch and Neubiberg . The premiere took place on May 13, 1949 in Hamburg.

During the filming of the autobiographical film, Margot Hielscher met the film composer Friedrich Meyer, whom she married in 1959.

With Hallo Fräulein , Margot Hielscher had her breakthrough in film after the war.

Many Margot Hielscher fans own the CD Ein Mädchen aus Berlin , which is supplemented by the double CD Hallo Fräulein .

When they meet again in the Salto Mortale episode “Munich”, Margot Hielscher gives her circus director Hans Söhnker a sugar cube before her horse training session.
