Quote

“Hannelore Teutsch's pictures show great calm, simplicity and clarity. The scenic inventory is manageable, the desire to tell is subdued and the fashionable zeitgeist is just as irrelevant as the reference to stylistic escapades. As if out of time, her picture stories enchant with their atmosphere and the sure hand of the artistic design. With their enigmatic meaning and the melancholy mood they seem to have emerged from a dream world. In this way it frees the viewer's senses for the peculiar interweaving of reality and fiction, of strictly constructed composition and naive narrative attitude, of the laconic world of things and the magic of images. ”( Herbert Schirmer )
