Hans Krostina (born August 14, 1948 in Munich ; † February 4, 2019 in Rosenheim ) was a German football player and coach. In the 1976/77 season he played 14 games in the Bundesliga for Rot-Weiss Essen .

Career

When the national goalkeeper of the 1962 World Cup in Chile, Wolfgang Fahrian , moved from Bundesliga club TSV Munich 1860 to Fortuna Düsseldorf in the regional soccer league for the 1967/68 season, 19-year-old amateur Hans Krostina also arrived from the “Löwen” the Lower Rhine with. Krostina made her debut in the Regionalliga under coach Bernd Oles - who had replaced the Austrian Ernst Melchior - on February 4, 1968 in a 1-0 away win against VfB Bottrop as a center forward. At the side of fellow players Wolfgang Fahrian, Werner Biskup , Egon Köhnen , Werner Lungwitz and Waldemar Gerhardt , he completed a total of eight league games and Fortuna took sixth place. After a season in Düsseldorf, Krostina joined the league rivals SC Fortuna Cologne for the 1968/69 season .

With the team of patron and President Jean Löring , Krostina made his debut on the first match day, August 18, 1968, in the 2-0 home defeat against VfL Bochum in the league eleven, but he achieved it in the course of the round alongside the top performers Karl Lambertin , Peter Boers , Friedhelm Otters and Karl-Heinz Struth only for a total of ten missions. Under the new coach Vladimir Beara and the newcomers Wolfgang Fahrian and Toni Regh, however, he increased to 25 appearances in his second season in Cologne's Südstadt. After a total of 61 regional league appearances with one goal, he said goodbye to Cologne - during his activity for SC Fortuna he had earned additional income by working as a representative for hot water boilers - and signed a new contract with SV Arminia Hannover in the regional football league for the 1971/72 season North .

His debut with the "Blauen" was successful with the 3-1 away win on the debut day of the round at SC Sperber Hamburg. As a midfielder, he scored one goal. Under the successor to coach Ivica Horvat , Hermann Erlhoff , Krostina made her debut on October 9, 1976 in the 1: 2 defeat at Hertha BSC at the side of Horst Hrubesch in the Bundesliga. During this phase he also played two games in the DFB Cup for the Red-Whites against SV Meppen and 1. FC Saarbrücken. In his second season, 1979/80, Krostina experienced the change of coach to Herbert Wenz in October 1979 , his increase to an astonishing 17 goals in 32 games, but at the end of the round as 19th the relegation to the amateur camp.

A total of 97 games with six goals in the then second-class regional football league and 94 games with 28 goals in the 2nd Bundesliga are played for the trained mechanical engineer.

In Switzerland he continued his football career as a coach with the clubs SC Zug (1981-83), FC Rüti Zurich (1982/83), FC Vaduz / Liechtenstein (1984/85), FC Chur (until 1988) and Old Boys Basel (1989) - mainly in the local National League B - continued. From July 1, 1991 to September 28, 1992, he coached SpVgg Bayreuth .
