Hontianske Moravce is a municipality in Slovakia . It is located about three kilometers from the town of Dudince and about 20 kilometers from Krupina and Levice .
It was created in 1960 through the merger of the municipalities Kostolné Moravce (German Kostolno-Morawitz , first mentioned in 1245) and Opátove Moravce (German Apat-Morawitz , first mentioned in 1135).
