history
The place was laid out in the 17th century as an extension of Dürrwangen.
Hop garden was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . In 1732 the place consisted of 3 properties, over which the imperial city Dinkelsbühl exercised the manorial rule. By the end of the 18th century there were 7 properties. The landlord was still Dinkelsbühl (infirmary: 1 economy, 6 half estate). From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .
As a result of the community edict, Hopfengarten was assigned to the tax district and the rural community of Dürrwangen in 1809 .
