Labertswend (also called Hutzelhof ) is a district of the market Dürrwangen in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .
geography
The village forms a closed settlement with Dürrwangen to the northeast. Immediately to the south of the village flows the Hühnerbächlein, which is a right tributary of the Sulzach . In the southwest is the Eichelgarten forest area, approx. 0.5 km northeast of the Tannenbusch forest area. A community road leads to Dürrwangen to the district road AN 42 (0.2 km northeast) or past the Rappenhof and Hopfengarten to Dinkelsbühl to the B 25 (5 km southwest).
history
From the place-name ending –wend , one can conclude that the place is one of the Wendish settlements that were planned by the authorities in large numbers in the Middle Ages.
The Fraisch over Labertswend was controversial. It was claimed by both the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen and the Oberamt Dürrwangen in Oettingen- Spielberg . The imperial city of Dinkelsbühl wanted to assert them on their property. In 1732 there were 2 properties. The landlords were the Oberamt Dürrwangen (1 yard) and the hospital of the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl (1 estate). Towards the end of the 18th century there were 5 properties (Oberamt Dürrwangen: 2 quarter courtyards, 2 eighth courtyards; Dinkelsbühl: 1 half courtyard). From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .
As a result of the community edict, Labertswend was assigned to the tax district and the rural community Dürrwangen in 1809 .
